(Richmond)- Two lawmakers are planning to push for legalized sports gambling in Virginia. Democrat Senator Chap Peterson and Democrat Delegate Mark Sickles both announced yesterday they’ll be rolling out proposals to be considered by the General Assembly. A May ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court now allows states to legalize sports gambling, which six states have done so far. Sickles said the Commonwealth could pull in over 40-million-dollars in tax revenue a year.
