(Staunton)- A Virginia high school named after a Confederate general will be known as something different next year. Staunton’s school board voted unanimously last night to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School to Staunton High. The movement to change the name gained steam after last year’s deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. The high school is also set for some major renovations.
