(DC)- A DC City Council committee is moving forward a bill that lowers the voting age. The legislation will now be placed on the agenda of the November 13th meeting to be voted on by the full council. If approved, 16 and 17-year-olds living in the District could be the first in the country to cast a vote for president in the 2020 election.
