(Richmond)- Virginia adults newly eligible for health coverage under Medicaid expansion will soon be able to start enrolling. Governor Northam says those eligible can start enrolling on November 1st. Coverage will kick in on January 1st. The General Assembly voted earlier this year to add up to 400-thousand uninsured, low-income Virginians to the state’s Medicaid rolls.
