VA Receiving Federal Aid For Florence

(Richmond)- Federal aid is on the fast track to help Virginia recover from Hurricane Florence. Governor Northam announced yesterday that President Trump has approved the state’s request, which will go to seven counties and three independent cities. The FEMA award will help pay for up to 75 percent of the costs incurred for repairing or replacing damaged public facilities, debris removal and emergency protective measures.
