(Stafford)- Stafford County Schools superintendent Scott Kizner is apologizing for the treatment of a transgender girl during a middle school lockdown drill. That student was placed in a locker room hallway as other students gathered inside the girls’ and boys’ locker rooms. LGBTQ advocates packed the school board meeting last night and urged for inclusive policies. Superintendent Scott Kizner acknowledged that system did not handle the incident the way it should have and said he would work with the school board to come up with policies.
