(Richmond)- The Virginia Board of Pharmacy is allowing five companies to open the state’s first medical cannabis dispensaries. They were chosen from a list of 51 applicants and can open within a year. The companies will be able to grow marijuana, but can only sell to registered patients. The locations are in the areas of Richmond, Staunton, Hampton Roads, Bristol and Manassas.
