Possible Measles Exposures Cited In Loudoun County

(Loudoun)- Two possible measles exposures are being reported in Loudoun County. The health department says the exposure sites were Inova Medical Center in Purcellville on August 17th and the Riverbend Building in Landsdowne last Monday. Measles is a highly contagious illness spread through coughing and sneezing, with a rash showing in later stages. Any residents that feel they may have been exposed and haven’t had the mumps and rubella, or MMR, vaccine are urged to call the Loudoun County Health Department.
