(Richmond)- Legislators will be back in Richmond for a special session next week to redraw eleven delegate districts. A federal judicial panel ordered lawmakers to correct lines that it says watered down the African-American voting voice in Republican-leaning districts. They have until October 30th to complete the process. House Speaker Kirk Cox says Republicans will fight to have the October deadline pushed back as judges weigh their appeal.
