Virginia Unemployment Rate Lowest Since 2007

(Richmond)- Virginia’s unemployment rate is the lowest its been since 2007. Governor Northam announced that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased in July to three-point-one percent and was down point-six-percent from a year ago. It is the lowest rate since August 2007. The unemployment rate in Maryland remains unchanged from recent months, hitting four-point-three percent in July.
