(Fairfax)- Health officials are confirming the first human case of West Nile Virus in Fairfax County. Health officials say an adult living in the northeastern part of the County was hospitalized from the virus. The health department says there has been a large increase of mosquitoes carrying the virus across the county. Someone in Prince George’s County in Maryland is also being treated for West Nile.
