(St Mary’s County)- Pet owners in St. Mary’s County are being told to check their pets for any possible fox bites or scratches. County health officials say two foxes have tested positive for rabies after they were captured last week in the Lexington Park area. One fox was picked up on Great Mills Road and a second one was picked up on Buena Vista Lane. Anyone who thinks their pet might have been injured by the foxes should contact the county animal control office.
