(Williamsburg)- A woman now sits as president of William and Mary for the first time in its long history. Katherine Rowe was sworn in by Governor Northam in front of an overflowing crowd at the Great Hall of the Wren Building in Williamsburg. She made note of the fact that her swearing-in comes 100 years after William and Mary became the first co-ed public university in Virginia. Listening to students and fundraising mark her immediate priorities.
