(Fredericksburg)- Fredericksburg Police have identified and charged a man who was going door to door in the city asking for money. He was telling people his car had been towed. 34-year old Robert Cushing is charged with nine counts of obtaining money by false pretenses. Authorities say Cushing started going to houses in the downtown area Friday. He gave different names and different stories but over and over said he needed money to get his car back. Police say the towed car story was false.
