(Spotsylvania)- The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery at noon on Monday the 24th at Union First Market Bank in Thornburg. Police say a man walked in and handed a note demanding money to the teller.
The clerk complied and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed during the incident. The suspect was last seen fleeing the business on foot.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 6’0”- 6’2”, heavy build, wearing a black hat and jeans.
