(Woodbridge)- Prince William County Police are getting body cameras. The department announced yesterday that patrol and K-9 officers will begin wearing the cameras in September. The move comes after a successful pilot program last year that Chief Barry Barnard says was “overwhelmingly” beneficial for officers. Barnard adds it’s important for the department to have transparency with the community.
