Stafford Woman Charged In Hampton Oaks Fire That Killed Husband

(Stafford)- The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 51 year old Lisa Bartosch on several charges connected to the residential fire which occurred on May 1, at her home on Devonshire Lane, in the Hampton Oaks subdivision. The fire killed her husband–52 year old Scott Bartosch. He died yesterday of injuries suffered in the fire.
Mrs. Bartosch is accused of intentionally setting the fire. She’s been charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and arson. She’s in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are coming.
