(Fredericksburg)- Danelle Rose will become Fredericksburg’s Visitor Center Manager on Monday.
Rose, who has worked in Fredericksburg’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism since late 2013, will take over from Julie Perry, who has accepted a job with the Virginia Tourism Corporation.
For the past three-plus years, Rose has been the department’s office manager and has overseen its social media efforts.
Rose joined the Department of Economic Development and Tourism following a 14-year career as a general manager in the restaurant industry and has a background in customer service.
The Fredericksburg Visitor Center is located at 706 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
