Former Massaponax Teacher Sentenced

(Spotsylvania)- From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle Toth, 39 of Spotsylvania, for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Toth plead guilty on November 3, 2016, and was sentenced to twelve months incarceration in the Spotsylvania Juvenile and Domestic Relations, (JDR), Court on that same date.

The investigation began in mid-September of this year. School administration contacted the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division and a Detective was assigned to the case. During the investigation the employee was placed on administrative leave. Toth is no longer an employee of the school division.

The investigation into this matter concluded with the issuance of an arrest warrant for Toth on October 24, 2016. Toth, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered himself to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with one count of misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He was released on the permitted warrant, issued by the Spotsylvania Magistrate’s Office.
