(Stafford)- A babysitter is in custody charged with manslaughter after a three-year-old girl drowned under her supervision. Chelie Casswell of Spotsylvania has been arrested. The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says Casswell was babysitting two young children at their father’s home and left the three-year-old alone when she went to retrieve the two-year-old boy who had wandered off to a neighbor’s in Aquia Harbor. When she returned, she found the girl unresponsive in a pool at the home. The girl was pronounced dead at the hospital.
