(Fredericksburg)- The Fredericksburg Police Department has turned a standard patrol vehicle into a School Resource Officer vehicle designed to represent James Monroe High School. It’s been designed to focus on the pride the city has in the high school.

It contains: TCB – Taking Care of Business, Tough City Boys The old school meaning of TCB is, “Tough City Boys.” TCB was started by James Monroe High School football coach, Rich Serbay as a rallying cry. The modern meaning of TCB is, “Taking Care of Business.” It has since been adopted by many of the athletic teams at James Monroe to include female sports. You can find TCB on the James Monroe flags displayed outside City homes, as well as on team uniforms and t-shirts.

The James Monroe SRO vehicle will be involved in community functions to include Kids Convention at the Spotsylvania Town Centre, sporting events to include football and basketball games held at James Monroe High School and the City of Fredericksburg Christmas Parade.
