(Stafford)- Stafford Supervisors are not happy with what they’re getting in a regional tourism agreement with Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania. Supervisors did not approve a new three year agreement last night until Stafford can become a bigger part of the area tourism program . Supervisor Meg Bohmke said, “I feel like we’re not getting our bang for our buck.” She says website section on Gari Melcher’s is underwhelming. “There was nothing there to pull me in to want to read more about it,” she said. Supervisor Wendy Mauer says branding by the group is heavily weighted to Fredericksburg. Supervisors approved funding for two months. The board meets again in mid-August. timeless
