(Spotsylvania)- A 52 year old Spotsylvania resident has been charged in a domestic violence related shooting on Mansfield Street. At 8:40 last night deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call on a female who had been shot. The victim told police that her boyfriend shot her after an argument over where she had been staying for a few days. She ran to a neighbor’s home and called 9-1-1. She was treated and released at Mary Washington Hospital for a gunshot sound to the arm.
Police arrested and charged Clayton Cross. He’s being held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
