(Spotsylvania)- The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office honored their 30 Volunteers in Police Services. The VIPS team gives of their time to assist with community policing, search and rescue and many needed services within the Sheriff’s Office.
Last night, a small appreciation dinner was held in their honor. Sheriff Harris says the job would be difficult if not impossible without them. This past year the group contributed 3,366 hours and participated in over 125 programs. Sheriff Harris noted, “We are beyond fortunate to have this group of wonderful people supporting the things we do. With their help we can reach more people, more of the time
