(Fredericksburg)- Fredericksburg City Police have been going thru evaluations this week tied to renewal of their accrediation. Charles Walters with the Commission on Accrediation was one of two evaluators talking with employees and community leaders all week. This hasn’t been just filling out a lot paper reports. City Police are voluntarily going for gold standard accrediation. Walters says most agencies don’t go that far. It includes more interviews with employees and the community. City Police will find out in November the results. Fredericksburg Police have been acrediated since 09.
