(Fredericksburg)- It’s back! The sign stolen over the weekend from the Mary Washington House on Charles Street was found this morning leaning against the fence in front of the house. Officials with the Washington Heritage Museums says it’s a bit worse for wear and needs to be remounted, but “it’s home.” The sign has been in front of the Mary Washington House for over 80 years. City Police spokeswoman Sarah Kirkpatrick tells us they will attempt to lift prints from the sign.
