The big Jackson Village development in Spotsylvania got approval from the Board of of Supervisors Tuesday night. The vote was 5-2. Supervisors Yakabouski and Heidig voted no. Supervisor Gary Skinner says the project is needed and will keep the county moving forward. Supervisor Paul Trampe says he’s been told by sources not connected to the developer that Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center needs more residents to residents moving in. The developer says build-out is about 15 years. Jackson Village will be in the Massapopnax area. It’s nearly 23-hundred homes.
