The Special Olympics Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run comes thru the area on Friday. In this area, the Stafford Sheriff’s Office will begin the Torch Run on Route 1 in North Stafford at 5:30. They’ll pass the torch to Fredericksburg Police at the Falmouth Bridge at 8:30. The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office will get the torch at 9. They’ll have it until giving it to Caroline law enforcement at 11. The final destination is U of R Friday night at the weekend Special Olympics Virginia Summer Games.
