Big night for family and friends of 520 Germanna Community College students. The school awarded 917 degrees at the Spring Commencement ceremonies at the Anderson Center at UMW. Commencement speaker Jessica Perez talked about her education journey that began with high school teachers that told her she wasn’t “college material.” She praised Germanna as a place that rebuilt her self esteem, gave her confidence and provided an educational path.
