First Molly Gill Award To Be Given

The first recipient of the “Molly Gill Award” will be given tonight in Stafford by the Commonwealth’s Attorney and Victim/Witness Assistance program to a crime victim that exemplifies resiliency and courage. In 1995, then-15 year old Molly Gill suffered a spinal cord injury in an accident where the driver of the car she was in was intoxicated. She later died during surgery related to her injuries. The award will be given tonight in a ceremony in the Board of Supervisors meeting room.
