Fredericksburg (WFVA) -- Know your neighborhood. Former FBI profiler and Spotsylvania resident Clint Van Zandt said that's the message to take from the Cleveland case of three girls held captive for ten years. He said because of commuting and our fast paced life, "The days of back yard barbeques and knowing the neighbors are over with. But just for the safety of yourself and your family you need to know what's going on," he said. "There's probably gong to be an indictment, at least a psychological indictment, of law enforcement and the community, Van Zandt said. "Because we saw things and we didn't deal with them like we should have." Van Zandt was a guest this morning on Town Talk, heard weekday mornings at 8.
