(Lancaster County)- VDOT is putting a strict three-ton weight limit on a Lancaster County bridge. Construction workers on the 60-year-old Norris Bridge say they heard a strange sound. Heavier vehicles needing to cross the Route Three Bridge spanning the Rappahannock River will have to take a lengthy detour. Delays are likely as bridge traffic is down to one lane. Ambulances and emergency vehicles can still cross the bridge.
