(Fredericksburg)- Fredericksburg City Council unanimously approved a letter of intent with the owners of the Potomac Nationals to move the team from Woodbridge to Fredericksburg. In the next 120 days, city council will seek public input. A 5-thousand seat stadium–built by the team–would be located in Celebrate Virginia South near Central Park. city officials say having a team finance the stadium is rare. If approved–the team hopes to begin play here in April of 2020.
