(Fredericksburg)- A Caroline County man has been arrested by Fredericksburg Police and charged with the Saturday night murder of 26-year old Antoinette Beverly of Milford. Police found the victim about 9:40pm behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a utility pole in Mayfield. Beverly was dead of a gunshot wound.
City Police Detectives took 34-year old Cortez Mills into custody Sunday night and charged him with second degree murder. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Authorities say Mills was the boyfriend of the victim.
