(Stafford)- The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a 37 year old county man is in the Rappahannock Regional Jail after a custody dispute Saturday at the Ferry Farm Walmart.

Authorities say Casey Irvin learned that his estranged wife was shopping at Walmart with the couple’s children.  He arrived at the store, and before entering, cut both passengers’ side tires of her vehicle.  Police say Irvin then proceeded into the store and attempted to retrieve his children from their mother’s custody.  Witnesses reported that during the struggle, the female shouted to, “Call the Police!”

Casey Irvin is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Vandalism, and Tampering with a Vehicle.
