(Alexandria)- Authorities say four Culpeper-area residents are facing charges after stealing thousands of dollars from an elderly woman. Alexandria Police say the four claimed to operate a business, “Trees Unlimited,” also known as “Unlimited Property Enhancements,” and took 71-thousand-dollars from the 89-year-old victim for roof repairs and landscaping. Investigators found no evidence of any work being done. Each suspect is charged with conspiracy to obtain money by false pretenses, which carries a maximum sentence of ten years.
