(Fredericksburg)-Fredericksburg Police say they think the man who robbed First Citizens Bank near Cowan Blvd about 4pm Thursday afternoon used a vehicle stolen from Hanover County earlier in the day. Police say prior to the city bank robbery the suspect went to the CVS Pharmacy next to the bank. He left in a gold-1990 Lexus RX 300. License XDG-1199.
City Police say these two pictures of the suspect were taken yesterday morning in Hanover. The third is of the car he is thought to be driving.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s to 50’s, approximately 5’6” tall with salt-and-pepper hair. He was wearing a black jacket and olive-colored cargo pants.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information about the suspect should contact police immediately at 540-373-3122.
