Four Arrested in Spotsy for Internet Crimes

(Spotsylvania)- The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Internet Crime Against Children Unit has arrested four men who tried to set up a meeting with who-they-thought was a 13 year old girl. All four drove to a pre-determined location to meet with the girl. All were arrested and face multiple felonies.

The Sheriff’s Office used a state grant that provided overtime hours and equipment for deputies to catch the predators online.

Arrested:

1. Matthew Arrington, 22 of Fredericksburg; Indecent Liberties and Electronic Solicitation of a Minor

2. Roy Brown Jr., 44 of Richmond, Va. Indecent Liberties, Electronic Solicitation and Concealed Weapon.

3. Derrian Lewis, 28 of Quantico, Va.; Indecent Liberties, Electronic Solicitation, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest

4. Francis “Frank” Vashro, 50 of Stafford, Va; Indecent Liberties, Electronic Solicitation and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
