Spotsy Budget Adopted

spotsy schoolsThe Spotsylvania School Board approved it’s budget last night. Supervisors gave the school board 17-thousand dollars in new money. That forced the board to make cuts of just over 900-thousand dollars. The vote on the budget last night was 6-1. Blill Blaine voted no. Ray Lora voted yes, but he said he did so with a heavy heart. Lora says he’s concerned about teachers and staff. Lora says the trend in Spotsylvania shows supervisors are providing less money for education.
