FREDERICKSBURG – Mr. Jerry Stewart, the Fredericksburg man who was reported missing by his family on March 27, has unfortunately been found deceased in the city. The body of Mr. Stewart was located this morning in a dense wooded area along the Blue Grey Parkway within a mile of his home in the Mayfield subdivision.
Mr. Stewarts’ remains have been transported to the Medical Examiner’s office in Richmond. The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
“Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Mr. Stewart. We were all hoping for his safe return home,” said Chief David W. Nye.
